If you’d told my younger self that one day I’d be developing properties in the UK, I’d probably have laughed… and asked if you had the right person.
I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where I learned early on that opportunities don’t always come to you, you often have to go and create them. That mindset took me from South Africa to Miami, and eventually to London, where I’ve built both a career and a life I’m incredibly grateful for.
Entrepreneurship has always been part of who I am. I started by building a successful beauty business, followed by running my own childcare company for over a decade. Each venture taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, resilience, customer service and the importance of building businesses with integrity. Looking back, every chapter was preparing me for the next.
Life hasn’t always gone according to plan. I’ve experienced loss, faced challenges I never expected, and had to rebuild more than once. Those experiences strengthened my faith, shaped my character and reminded me that our greatest growth often comes from life’s toughest moments.
Today, I’m the founder of EMC Legacy Property, where I specialise in transforming underused properties into high-quality homes. For me, property is about far more than bricks and mortar. it’s about creating opportunities, improving communities and building a legacy that lasts for generations.
When I’m not on a building site or planning the next project, you’ll usually find me travelling, in the gym, enjoying good food, or making memories with my three amazing children, who inspire everything I do.
I believe success isn’t just about the buildings we create. it’s about the people we help, the communities we improve and the legacy we leave behind. My journey is proof that with faith, determination and a willingness to keep learning, it’s never too late to build something extraordinary.
And yes… I’m still learning. Thankfully, renovating properties is usually easier than convincing my children to keep their bedrooms tidy!
